Greetings Friends! Please join us for P&P #16, as we travel back in time to 1969 and the summer of love. Taking Woodstock tells the story of the people who brought the festival to its location in Bethel, New York, expecting 50,000 people and getting 400,000... Here is the trailer:



The potluck theme this month is LOVE. In the spirit of the summer of love bring anything that warms your heart or makes you remember the ones you care about. It's a good opportunity to practice your Valentine's Day recipe!

Happy New Year and hope you are enjoying the holiday season! Don’t forget to keep some energy on reserve for the New Year’s mega weekend - OMG it’s going to be a memorable one for sure... I am once again delighted to invite you to join us on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, for a night of friends, food, entertainment and conversation. What better way to kick start 2010?

This month's feature film is "Jarhead". Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition) this movie is based on U.S. Marine Anthony Swofford's 2003 Gulf War memoir of the same name. Having seen very little actual combat during the war (like most of the half million troops stationed there), Swofford's story tends to focus on topics that are not often discussed in war movies. I decided to start posting more stuff on the blog and share items that are not necessarily new but have important and useful information. This one is a classic:

Hello again Propaganders! Here are a few updates and reminders before the gathering tomorrow:

- The event will take place at 58 Tehama, San Francisco CA.

- We are still accepting video suggestions for "open decks". Keep in mind that the intention behind the party is "Unity - no separation".

- P&P is free as always but if you stay for the party you’ll need to buy a ticket, either at the venue or online at http://entheogenicgarden.com/.

- The potluck theme is home food: share with us some of the dishes which remind you of the holiday season, "family" or "home", whatever these terms mean to you. Otherwise just bring any food or drink that you wish to share with the community.

- If you wish to spare the environment brink your own cup for drinks (BM style). Disposable cups and dishes will also be available.

- Tentative schedule for the evening:
4:00 - 5:00 Community potluck. Theme: Home Food.
5:00 - 6:00 Open Decks
6:00 - 8:00 Movie: The Beautiful Truth
8:00 - 8:20 Rusted Sodom - a film by David Cohen (aka Dog of Tears)
8:30 - 9:00 Pranic Yoga session led by Dmitry Vulfovich.
9:00 - Entheogenic Garden music lineup begins
